Crockpot Artichokes

An easy crockpot recipe for cactus... I mean artichokes.

Crockpot Artichokes

5 artichokes, with leaf tops trimmed
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
8 peppercorns
2 stalks celery, cut up
1/2 lemon, sliced
2 cups boiling water

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
